COMPANY HISTORY
Al Badr Cont. & Civil Construction Co LLC was founded in 1977 in Sharjah, initially focusing on building apartments, schools, and factories. Today we have grown to become one of the leading general contractors in the United Arab Emirates, responsible for some of the most challenging projects in the country.
As one of United Arab Emirates’ pioneers in construction, Al Badr Cont. & Civil Construction Co LLC has obtained a reputation for completing all projects on time and on budget – we are proud to report that more than 70% of our work comes from repeat-clients. OUR SERVICES
CIVIL WORKS
The Civil Works Division is involved in all civil aspects of our projects and is managed by highly qualified and experienced personnel supported by technically efficient and competent workforce capable of handling projects of different nature and volumes.
MEP WORKS
The MEP Works Division consists of a specialized in-house team in charge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works that lends its expertise and technical know-how across projects of various nature and sizes. Activities Include design, procurement, installation, and testing & commissioning.
INFRASTRUCTURE WORKS
The Infrastructure Works Division focuses on infrastructure projects ranging from power substations and water tanks to pipe laying and road works.
MAINTENANCE WORKS
The Maintenance Works Division takes on projects where maintenance, repair, major renovation or civil work restructuring is required in existing buildings and infrastructure. To enable us to do this, we operate a robust Health, Safety, and Environmental management system in accordance with OHSAS 18001:2007 & ISO 14001:2015 standards.
OUR HSE practices include:
- Ongoing training for all employees and subcontractors on site in compliance with the Health, Safety, and Environmental policies of Al Badr Cont. & Civil Construction Co LLC.
- Encouraging proactiveness within staff in monitoring and reporting any potential hazards on site and rewarding staff for continuous improvement on Health & Safety standards
- Being strict on working safety and protecting the environment as a condition of employment. No employee shall commit, condone, nor knowingly be party to an unsafe act of violation of Al Badr Cont. & Civil Construction Co LLC’s policies.
- Our dedication to preventing pollution and minimizing the adverse impacts of our activities on the natural, built and cultural environment. We also reduce waste through minimization strategies and promote the efficient use of natural resources.
- Helping our employees to care for their own health. When required, medical support shall be provided which may include vaccinations, physical checkups, and medical evaluations as well as information such as employee medical insurance plans.
